Need input

I need some assistance.  I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a new theme and some new polls for January - and I'm coming up blank.

Is this something that is even worth continuing into 2010?

"Abe", do you want topics strictly limited to geing gay and having a tie to Mormonism? Or, do you care what the topics are? I, for one, have learned a lot from various people with the topics you propose. Would you consider doing a topic related to New Year's resolutions or goals? Or have you had enough of those?

Best wishes for a Happy New Year! Did your photography take off like you had hoped? And, for what it is worth, I STILL think you would make an awesome math teacher. We need good male math teachers with whom the kids can relate, and not just as sports coaches.

Love and respect, always!

One topic that might work Abe would be to have a "teachings for our times" post. Pick a talk from conference and apply it to your life. How has it helped you on your journey, etc.

I think the polls are fascinating, and help me to see where I fit (or don't fit) into this community.

I don't think the poll topics have to always be gay-centered. Maybe they are current events, or political leanings, or movie ratings, or favorite scripture (that was a joke) or whatever - just to get a pulse on the community.

At the same time, maybe you want the polls to be gay-themed and that's fine, too. Either way, they are a great way to get a quick read on your fellow MOHOs.

I don't think the monthly themes and/or polls have to be gay and/or mormonism related per se - just something that is of general interest in the MoHo community.

You could have a poll about poll ideas.

How about a theme based on people's "first meaningful kiss"? when, where, with whom, how it made them feel, etc.

Hope all is well!
