Not denying it may be a hoax; but, it is an actual auction on eBay with a starting bid of $1,000 (no bids when I looked at it earlier today). Plus, they want $20 shipping/handling. I thought that was just rude - they want $1,000 for a slice of eggplant, and they don't even throw in free shipping! What is the world coming to?
